Yo Gotti and Lil Uzi Vert combine for “Pose,” an absolute party banger that should be the latest song to go viral on TikTok. The camera-obsessed single finds the Memphis OG spitting about his love-hate relationship with photography.
“Dope boy, I’m on Polaroid / Photo’s make me paranoid / Bitch open up her camera phone / This that shit I be tryna avoid / Bitch, I ain’t tryna make no blog with you,” he raps. Lil Uzi comes through at the end and hits the record out of the park. Stream the song above.
There’s little to no information on whether “Pose” is a cut off an album or just a loose single. Trapped is Yo Gotti’s forthcoming album — which he has been teasing since last year — but there’s no official release date. Gotti spoke to Billboard about what can his fans expect from his new music. “I think this album is going to be one of my classic albums ever,” he said. “I was just telling somebody on my management team that right now I feel more charged than ever. This is how deep the hunger is. I don’t know if it’s just the hustler nature in me or what, but I can’t even explain this shit.”
Gotti’s last album, I Still Am, dropped in 2017. Lil Uzi Vert’s most recent album, Luv Is Rage 2, was released the same year.
