Gallant Drops Make-Up Single "Sleep On It"
Setting the stage for a new album and upcoming tour.
Ahead of an upcoming tour with singer/songwriter Sabrina Claudio, Gallant has just released an acoustic guitar-filled track by the name of “Sleep On It.” Guitar sounds mixed in with an intense beat and Gallant’s falsetto voice create a smooth trifecta contrary to the song’s theme.
True to its name, “Sleep On It” outlines the aftermath of an intimate argument between a couple, focusing on the moment they decide to pause and sleep on the issue. “The song is about putting aside your pride after butting heads in a relationship. It’s about reconciliation,” Gallant says. The new single comes as a preface to Gallant’s second full-length album, Sweet Insomnia, which is set to release this fall.
