After unveiling its latest project in the form of a brand new San Francisco store, New York-based skate label Supreme has followed up with a new collaboration with The North Face. A fan-favourite longstanding collaboration, the two brands have combined to create a collection which sees new renditions of some classics that include a Baltoro Jacket, Mountain Jacket, Hooded Sweatshirt, T-Shirt and Waterproof Backpack. Technical features in this capsule can be found on a number of pieces such as the Baltoro Jacket featuring 700 fill down insulation, as well as a down insulated packable hood along with water resistant nylon. The Mountain Jacket incorporates a waterproof, full seam-sealed nylon construction that also has a packable hood while the backpack uses a waterproof 210D ripstop nylon with welded seams and a padded mesh back panel. Rounding things out are the vivid Statue of Liberty prints emblazoned across the front and back of the pieces, which some would see as a nod to the skate brand’s New York roots.
The Supreme x The North Face 2019 fall/winter collection will be available at Supreme’s New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris and online store starting October 31. Japan will see a later release on November 2.
