The North Face “7 Summits” Collection
The North Face is back again with another range of covetable outerwear. Dubbed the “7 Summits” collection, the function-focused range is inspired by The North Face-endorsed ski-mountaineer Kit DesLauriers.
In 2006, DesLauriers became the first person to scale and then ski down all Seven Summits — the tallest peaks located on each continent. The “7 Summits” collection builds on established alpine aesthetics, adding extra detailing in the form of interchangeable patches that honor the highest peaks.
The collection features versions of the Himalayan Parka, a limited edition ’95 Denali Fleece, Explore Haulaback Backpack and 7SE Bootie all in a bright yellow and black tooling. Part of The North Face’s City collection, the range expresses refined streetwear cuts, that maintain the rugged, mountaineering technical specs necessary to conquer mountains. Coming together to further bridge the gap between streetwear culture and high-performance wear.
