Ronnie Fieg & ASICS Celebrate 10th Anniversary With New “Super Blue” Collection (UPDATE)

UPDATE (October 7, 2019): Ronnie Fieg’s 10th anniversary ASICS collaboration has received an official release date.
The celebratory capsule features an updated Super Blue GEL-LYTE III, as well as the new “Super Blue” GEL Fieg 3.1 model. Leading up to their release, Fieg teased both iterations via his social media accounts.
Each pair has been crafted from premium hairy pigskin suede, marking the first time Fieg has applied this material to an ASICS silhouette. The GEL-LYTE III is dressed in a light grey upper and embellished with contrasting blue Tigers stripes. Over on the GEL-FIEG 3.1, this silhouette utilizes black nubuck, hairy suede overlays, and leather Tiger stripes which all sits atop a GEL-Nimbus 17 sole unit.
Interested fans will be able to purchase the Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Super Blue 10th Anniversary Capsule starting today at all KITH shops and kith.com from 11 a.m. EST. Both models will also be released at Kith Treats Tokyo. The GEL-LYTE III will retail at $180 USD and the GEL-FIEG 3.1 for $200 USD.
Original Story (October 2, 2019): To celebrate their decade-long partnership, Ronnie Fieg and ASICS are gearing up to drop a celebratory “Super Blue” GEL-Lyte III model.
Taking to his personal Instagram account, Fieg previewed the forthcoming silhouette with the caption, “RF for Asics 10 year anniversary “Super Blue” Gel Lyte iii.” This time around the OG option features a light-colored hairy suede upper, with complementary blue branding found throughout.
