Following a fully blacked out debut collaboration last year between outdoor and combat gear company Mystery Ranch and Timex Japan, the two have come together once again for another military-inspired timepiece.
Adopting the same Field Watch model, the Montana-based company has added more of its own flair to the Timex piece, dressing the 42mm case in a matte-finished, bead-blasted coyote brown reminiscent of its own range of backpacks and bags. The earthier tones are then paired perfectly with a clean off-white dial — which illuminates when the crown is pushed down — featuring 12-hour markings on the outer rim and 24-hour markings on the inner ring. Tying the entire look together are two coyote brown watch straps, both constructed with Mystery Ranch’s own webbing. The first strap is a regular NATO strap for a more subtle look whilst the second more military-styled strap comes equipped with an innovative buckle mechanism built with an extremely durable thermoplastic. As part of the set, the new collaborative watch also comes with a 500D Cordura carrying case from Mystery Ranch, with the company’s logo printed on the front.
The Mystery Ranch x Timex Japan Field Watch II will be available from mid-November, though pre-orders are currently already being taken. Head over to Timex Japan to place your order now, which will set you back ¥22,000 JPY (approximately $202 USD).
For more military-inspired watches, N.HOOLYWOOD has reunited with G-SHOCK for a new DW-5600.
