Rolling off recent collaborations like WTAPS and UNITED ARROWS & SONS, Nigo‘s HUMAN MADE has returned, dropping a set of vibrant military-inspired pieces this time under its own line – a field jacket, flight vest and parka.
First up is a soft colored field jacket covered in a unique camouflage that weaves in HUMAN MADE’s cherry red heart logo into the earthy pattern, a familiar concept Nigo started in the early days of BAPE. The jacket comes with four pockets, two at the chest and two near the hem, along with raised collars with a hidden hood inside. Other details like velcro straps at the collar and cuffs round up the jacket.
The next piece is an olive-toned vest with a smooth outer shell inspired by vintage military flight jackets. Subtle “HUMAN MADE” branding is emblazoned on the upper left chest, complemented by a central silver-toned zipper and two welt pockets at the waist. To contrast its muted exterior, the piece sees a bright orange inner lining in a delicate faux fur for added warmth, while elastic ribbing at the sides offers extra comfort.
Coming in a dark beige tone, the light duck parka is the last piece in the set. The parka sees a relatively short cut with a wide, boxy fit. It comes with two flap pockets, silver-toned zippers, adjustable cuffs and a hood with drawstrings. Finishing off the piece, a black heart logo appears at the upper left chest, followed by the label’s tagline “GEARS FOR FUTURISTIC TEENAGERS” at the back.
All three pieces from HUMAN MADE are currently available at humanmade.jp, from $320 – $732 USD.
