UNITED ARROWS & SONS Taps HUMAN MADE for Bespoke Leather Blazer
Celebrating 30 years.
2019 is a special year for UNITED ARROWS & SONS. It marks the Japanese label’s 30th anniversary, and in celebration, it’s signed on HUMAN MADE for a single luxe leather blazer, scrawled with contrasting motifs and illustrations that enliven the sartorial piece.
The blazer is constructed using thick sheep leather and sees a distinctive texture that makes the white graphics pop. HUMAN MADE’s heart logo is placed at the upper right chest, complemented by a drawing of a duck on the left that inches closer to the lapels. Below are two waist pockets, both of which have cartoonish illustrations of a standing bear coming out from each one. “HUMAN MADE” and “DRY ALLS” is printed across the sleeves, rounded out by sleek four-button cuffs. The back of the blazer is glossed with a bevy of familiar motifs from HUMAN MADE, like polar bears, tigers and ducks, while the tagline “GEARS FOR FUTURISTIC TEENAGERS” is placed at the center, finishing off the bespoke collaboration.
The HUMAN MADE x UNITED ARROWS & SONS Leather Blazer will be available on October 25 at UNITED ARROWS & SONS Harajuku and UNITED ARROWS Roppongi Hills for approximately $1,822 USD.
