thisisneverthat Delivers New GORE-TEX-Clad FW19 Collection
Featuring INFINIUM technology.
Back around the end of August, thisisneverthat collaborated with New Balance on the cream-colored M997 “PFU II.” This time around, the Seoul-based imprint has returned, calling in GORE-TEX for a range of highly weatherized goods.
The capsule sees an array of insulated jackets, fleece zip-ups, pants, a vest and a pair of gloves, all lined with breathable, waterproof textiles. Most of the pieces come with bold multi-paneled construction reminiscent of retro ’90s outdoor apparel but are updated with modern fabrics. One distinctive highlight in the capsule is the use of the new GORE-TEX INFINIUM technology, which is one of the lightest materials the company has produced thanks to its ultra-thin membrane. The fabric also has a protective outer layer that makes water bead up and roll off. Each piece in the capsule is emblazoned with “thisisneverthat” and “GORE-TEX INFINIUM™” co-branding, including the 3-D formed stretch gloves and the polar fleece zip-ups, while the boxy pants and padded oversized parkas round up the assemblage.
The GORE-TEX x thisisneverthat FW19 capsule is currently available at thisisneverthat.com, from $45 – $306 USD.
Elsewhere, Dean Blunt and Gene’s Liquor have released the “Stealth Hoodie.”
