Towards the end of summer, Wiz Khalifa linked up with Moneybagg Yo for the TM88-produced “Never Lie.” Further supporting their recent record together, the aforementioned rap titans are unveiling the visual component of “Never Lie.” Directed by Derek Pike, the music video for “Never Lie” puts Wiz Khalifa and Moneybagg Yo in a collegiate setting, placing them at the head of their very own fraternity.

“I could see you n***as hating from afar (Far) / Try to hide it but I know just who you are (Are) / N***a, we ain’t got no ties (Nah) / I could see through your disguise (‘sguise),” Wiz Khalifa raps on “Never Lie.” “My chain real bright, my lil’ bitch right / My n***as on sight, we never gon’ hide / And n***as don’t like and I know why (Why?) / When you see me you get mad, you wish that I was doing bad.”

“I’m just grateful for my situation and all my fans. They try to make it a competition, but I’m not really with all that. If I do what I’m supposed to do, then I’m cool with it,” Moneybagg Yo shared with Billboard a few months ago, opening up about the impressive recent commercial success he’s been enjoying in recent months. “I wanted to come with a different approach to get the streets back and let them know I didn’t go anywhere. I got a studio built in my house, so I was recording there in Memphis and Atlanta. Those two environments give me that street feel. I’m gonna make the world get on what I want to be on. I just want to take my story to a whole new level.”

Earlier this month, Los Angeles rapper G Perico recruited Wiz Khalifa for another new single, “Billie Jean.”
