Levi's & Jacquard by Google Unite for High-Tech Trucker Jacket
Allowing you to access ride sharing apps, messaging, music and more with just a gesture.
After working with Saint Laurent for the Cit-e Backpack, Jacquard by Google and Levi’s have continued their long-running collaboration with a new high-tech trucker jacket. The Jacquard technology has been added to both the Classic Trucker and Sherpa Trucker jackets, and allows the wearer to perform a number of actions through gestures.
The jacket works through the tiny Jacquard Tag, which can be used to access navigation, ride sharing apps, weather and traffic reports, messaging, music and more. Over time, more and more functions will be added to the Jacquard Tag that can be accessed by updating the tag.
Take a look at the two jackets in the gallery above, as well as two women’s options. Both the Classic Trucker and the Sherpa Trucker are set to release via the Levi’s web store on October 3, priced at $198 USD and $248 USD respectively.
