J Balvin & Bad Bunny Revisit Their 'OASIS' Album for New "La Cancion" Visual
Directed by Colin Tilley.
One month after the debut of Major Lazer, J Balvin and El Alfa’s vibrant collaborative single “Que Calor,” J Balvin and Bad Bunny are reconnecting for a new music video in support of one of the eight records featured on their high-profile joint studio album, OASIS. Specifically, the two globe-trotting superstars are following up their August clip for “Cuidao Por Ahi” by delivering a Colin Tilley-directed visual for the OASIS highlight “La Cancion.”
“If tomorrow I want to release a rock album or I want to release a bachata album, nobody can tell me anything — why can’t I?” Bad Bunny told The New York Times earlier this year, opening up about his collaborative album with J Balvin for a June profile. “We need to try to unite audiences, unite countries, join musical tastes, unite people.”
“It’s just the beginning of a new global Spanish wave,” J Balvin added in a following quote featured in the aforementioned New York Times piece.I think we’re really making a beautiful statement.”
