Infrequent must-see sales are a Grailed staple, from celebrity closet purges to one-off archive events. For Halloween 2019, the vaunted menswear site is gearing up for another major sale, with a fresh spin; commemorating all 31 days of October, Grailed will drop 31 unique archive pieces for only $31 USD apiece.

“It feels like we’re at the symbolic peak of a menswear revolution, said Lawrence Schlossman, Grailed’s brand director. “Considering this, we couldn’t think of a better moment to celebrate men’s fashion than the holiday of ‘dressing up’ and tackling fears. Could anything be scarier right now than creative boredom? What’s scarier than 4 million jawnz enthusiasts trying to cop 31 spooky grails? Good luck and try not to die.” Miles McKirdy, Grailed’s senior marketing manager expounded, noting that “Treating yourself to designer pieces on a whim is, realistically, limited to a select few. We wanted to open that spontaneously-adventurous experience up to more [people].”

Key pieces from the sale include the always-noteworthy Raf Simons “Poltergeist” sweater, Supreme‘s SS18 “Skull Pile” Work Jacket and one of the “I See Ghosts” pullovers created by Cactus Plant Flea Market last year. The latter is a wink to the seasonal motif, with the Halloween influence yielding vintage horror movie T-shirts that reference films like The Blair Witch Project, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Shining, complemented by similarly-minded items like an UNDERCOVER Bat Wing backpack and Hellraiser x Supreme coat.

Ahead of the sale, Grailed will also issue one-off grail giveaways, ranging from a black Supreme Box Logo sweater to the Off-White™ x Nike Blazer Mid “Grim Reaper,” as seen below.

Expect the inaugural Halloween sale to launch on Grailed’s site October 31 at 1:31 PM EST.

Grailed isn’t the only outlet getting in on the spirit of the season, as Size? is prepping a pack of spooky Vans Sk8-Hi sneakers for the end of the month.
