Future & Grailed Will Sell 'Summer Sixteen Tour' Jacket & Rare Garments in Closet Sale
Raising funds for the rapper’s FreeWishes Foundation.
Future and Grailed are teaming up once again to raise funds for the Atlanta rapper’s FreeWishes Foundation in a designer clothing closet sale.
The sale will see pieces from Gucci, Saint Laurent, Fear of God and Burberry amongst many other high-end labels, and is expected to fetch around $23,000 USD. More than 50 pieces will be up for grabs, including a number of rare and one-off items. Speaking about the sale, Future told WWD, “Whether it be low-end or high-end, we mix it in and blend it well… Because it’s not about what you wear or what you spend, it’s the person who’s wearing it. It’s how you put it together.”
Items such as custom basketball, hockey and football jerseys will be listed alongside a concert-worn jacket from the Summer Sixteen Tour with Drake that reads “Them Boys Up To Something” across the sleeves and back, which is taken from their track “Jumpman.” Other notable pieces include a Balenciaga “The Power of Dreams” leather biker jacket, a Yohji Yamamoto “Wait Until Dark” blazer and a Silver Ghost puffer from Gucci.
FreeWishes is a foundation which empowers youths and seniors in unique events and programs. It aims to deliver a message of hope, perseverance and resilience to marginalized communities by supporting those in need of engagement, encouragement and empowerment.
