Babylon Connects With GUESS Jeans U.S.A. For Sports Capsule
Debuting at GUESS’ experiential event in DTLA.
Babylon LA has partnered with GUESS Jeans U.S.A. for a limited-edition 11-piece capsule, dropping at the label’s annual LOT 5 pop-up. Fashioned under the new GUESS Sport diffusion, GUESS will make the joint offering available to the public at its experiential activation, taking place at its HQ in DTLA. Director of Brand partnerships for GUESS Inc. and Jeans, Nicolai Marciano, believes the partnership has “brought a unique vision to the project.”
The injection of both brands DNA can be witnessed throughout the collection, as Babylon’s design reinterprets the GUESS roots — such as with a black, red and white motif — adding its own contemporary, skate-forward vantage point. The series consists of six apparel options: a hoodie, logo t-shirts and hockey jersey with complementary cargo pants. Graphic details reference both label’s namesake with co-branded emblems and screen printed text. The assemblage also includes side bags, slides, hats, rings and necklaces to round out the drop.
The Babylon LA x GUESS Sport collection will be available August 24-25. Apparel and accessories range from $75-$150 USD and $50-$120 USD, respectively.
