'Borderlands 3' Upcoming "Bloody Harvest" Event Date Announced
A spooky event just in time for Halloween.
Developer Gearbox has announced Borderlands 3‘s upcoming free Halloween-themed event, Bloody Harvest, with a new trailer. In the footage above, we see Captain Haunt, an alternate-reality version of the game’s Captain Traunt character, who can only be encountered in a new realm playfully dubbed “Heck” that can be accessed after completing a few event challenges.
Players must gather “Hecktoplasm” for a new character named Maurice in order to reach Heck. Once there, players will combat fire-breathing Rakks and other enemies before reaching the Captain Haunt boss battle, who appears as a flaming skull of fire encased in imposing armor. Once defeated, players will earn horror-themed cosmetics and a new Legendary weapon called the Fearmonger shotgun.
The Bloody Harvest event will begin October 24 and will last until December 5.
In other gaming news, there’s a one-hit kill goldfish in Fortnite: Chapter 2.
Do you feel that chill running up your spine? It must be the call of Bloody Harvest, a supremely spooky free event for #Borderlands3 that starts October 24! 💀
