Off-White™ x BAPESTA Sneakers Confirmed Fake (UPDATE)
Originally spotted at Louis Vuitton’s FW19 runway show.

UPDATE (October 22, 2019): After posting the news a few hours prior, a BAPE rep has confirmed the sneakers featured in the IG posts below are fake; it’s unlikely that Abloh’s bespoke BAPESTA shoes will ever see general release.
ORIGINAL STORY (October 22, 2019): Fans first got a sneak peek at the potential Off-White™ BAPESTA earlier this year when Virgil Abloh closed out the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2019 runway show in Paris.
Since then, we haven’t heard or seen much of the model until now. Thanks to @sneakerjamz, a few more detailed shots have been circulating the Internet. In the clips posted below, the collaborative sneaker’s black snakeskin-like upper and contrasting white STA motif can be clearly seen, along with added signature Off-White™ industrial branding found on the medial sides. Additionally we get glimpses of “SHOELACE,” “BAPE,” “Tokyo,” “Japan,” and “1993” markings throughout the model.
Take a look at the new visuals of the Off-White™ x BAPESTA via the posts below, and stay tuned for a possible release date.
