Aimé Leon Dore Joins British Label Drake's for FW19 Capsule Collection
Tailoring and streetwear unite.

The collaborations continue to roll in for Aimé Leon Dore, who has already unveiled pieces with Woolrich, Paraboot and New Balance this month alone. Up next for the New York-based brand is a match-up with London-based label Drake’s, the two have concocted a capsule that pits classic streetwear against British tailoring for a refined Fall/Winter 2019 offering.
The lookbook highlights crisp, hand-made suiting in subdued shades of burnt orange and navy, styled smartly with patterned ties and handkerchiefs for extra flair. Meanwhile, ALD’s terry-crafted sweatpants and crewnecks hold down the more casual end of the range, while blazers in tweed and wool complement the pieces with a polished layering option.
On the more colorful end of the spectrum, striped sweaters in combinations like hot pink and green and royal blue and gold usher in a livelier tone. Accessories such as striped scarves and khaki green beanies finish it off, ensuring the outfit is fully prepped for fall.
The Drake’s x Aimé Leon Dore collection will be available starting November 1 at 11 a.m. EST at aimeleondore.com, as well as at the Aimé Leon Dore flagship store in New York.
Earlier this month, ALD released a luxe take on denim with an Italian-crafted denim and cashmere capsule.
