After previewing the A-COLD-WALL* x Nike Zoom Vomero +5 at the London-based label’s Fall/Winter 2019 show, the brand officially released the solarised colorway of the collaborative footwear today.

The Samuel Ross and A-COLD-WALL* studio developed a hand-dyed technique in order to create abstract tonal patterns that lend the style a subtle marble look, making each pair unique. A protruding block design on the heel counter of the shoe gives it a sculptural shape, reinventing the typical sneaker silhouette. ACW* branding is located on the heel, as well as the footbed and toebox.

The midsole is comprised of Cushlon foam and Zoom Air cushioning, while polyurethane is coated along the upper for a reflective effect. Due to the properties of the synthetic dye, A-COLD-WALL* notes that the environment, such as rainy weather, may adjust the tones of the shoe over time.

After today’s drop, the £185 GBP (~$240 USD) sneakers have already sold out in all sizes. However, the red colorway, which was recently revealed on A-COLD-WALL*’s instagram, has yet to be released.
