A Closer Look at the KITH x mastermind WORLD x Vans Footwear Collection

Yesterday we shared an official look at KITH’s tripartite collaboration with mastermind WORLD and Vans, and now today we take a closer look at the offering’s selection of footwear, comprised of the Sk8-Hi Zip LX, Old Skool LX and OG Classic Slip-On.
Marking KITH‘s first collaboration with Vans, the range combines KITH’s affinity for fabrics and materials with mastermind’s signature punk approach. The Sk8-Hi is available in both themes, including a tonal black nubuck version and another constructed with a supple brown leather and sherpa lining. The Old Skool LX shares the same brown leather makeup, while the OG Classic Slip-On matching the aforementioned Sk8-Hi Zip LX. Additional details include winterized soles and laces, metal eyestays, a skeleton graphic along the outsole, jewelry-like tooling around the Sk8-Hi’s collar, and the phrase “Peace on Earth/World on Fire” debossed along each midsole.
The KITH x mastermind WORLD x Vans footwear collection, along with the complementary apparel, releases on January 18 apparel at all KITH Shops and Kith.com.
