The 15-time Grammy Award winner will host for the first time.

Following the reveal of nominations, it has been confirmed that Alicia Keys will host the upcoming Grammy Awards. The 15-time Grammy Award winner announced the news this morning, marking her first time hosting the show.
“I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I’m going to bring that vibe and energy,” Keys stated. “I’m so excited to be the master of ceremonies on the biggest night in music and celebrate the creativity, power and magic. I’m especially excited for all the incredible women nominated this year!”
Recording Academy president Neil Portnow commented that “throughout [Alicia's] exciting career, I have watched her become a powerful force within the music industry and beyond. As an artist who speaks to the power of music, we are thrilled to have her on board.”
Keys will follow James Corden‘s previous Grammy hosting duties, who himself took over for LL Cool J and his five-year stretch of hosting the event.
The Grammy Awards airs live on CBS February 10.
