Kanye West May Be Working on New Album With Lil Wayne, Migos, Timbaland
He’s reportedly in Miami recording new music.
Kanye West is reportedly back in the studio, working on his upcoming album. No word if this new album is Yandhi — the delayed full-length that West promised last year — but the Chicago native is supposedly in Miami recording with Lil Wayne, Migos, Timbaland, 2 Chainz, Tee Grizzley and YNW Melly, TMZ reports.
There is no news on when Kanye will be dropping a new album. Yandhi was originally supposed to drop last year but following his Kids See Ghost performance with Kid Cudi at Camp Flog Gnaw, he delayed the album because “isn’t ready yet.”
The LP was originally scheduled to drop on Sept. 29 and will feature guest appearances from 6ix9ine and the late XXXTentacion. It was later revealed that Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign will also be on the album with the former tackling body shaming on a record off the LP. Last Fall, Kanye was also in Africa recording new music while touring countries such as Uganda.
Alongside ‘Ye’s solo projects, there is also his collaborative project with Chance The Rapper, Good Ass Job. However, Chance said back in October that they haven’t started making the LP yet.
