Eastwood Danso Debuts Hiking-Inspired Converse Chuck Taylor

London-based designer Eastwood Danso has given a first look at an upcoming release with Converse. The rugged silhouette sees the Chuck Taylor reworked into a hiking boot, with functionality and durability placed front and center by the emerging designer.

The stand-out feature of the shoe is its oversized sole, while other utilitarian detailing includes additional lace hooks across the canvas upper and hiking-style laces that sit alongside the typical lacing system. As it stands, there is no news on an exact release date for the silhouette, although Danso described it as “the beginning of a collaboration which is going to carry on through my next season.”
