KOMAKINO Exhibits Relaxed Suiting With Its FW19 Collection
The subculture-informed label takes on traditional tailoring.
Returning for Fall/Winter 2019, London-based label KOMAKINO took on traditional tailoring with its latest collection.
Leading the upcoming range is an array of relaxed suiting that defies all rules established by Savile Row tailors. Embroidered suit jackets are paired with billowy single-front pleat trousers for a unique overall silhouette. Matching formal shirts are done in two-tone cotton, and sport a distinct utilitarian nature tied to the militaristic elements associated with KOMAKINO. Elsewhere, the collection features double-breasted coats, parka jackets, rider jackets, hoodies, sweaters and pants, all which display a subcultural-tinge expressed via overlap stitching, unique zippering, printed graphics and evocative patches.
