The KIDZ BOP Version of Drake's "In My Feelings" Is Going Viral
“I got a new boy, and yeah, he’s the best.”
KIDZ BOP has just released its latest compilation KIDZ BOP 39, and with it came the unexpected resurgence of Drake‘s 2018 hit, “In My Feelings.” Known for taking chart-topping tracks and remixing them into kid-friendly versions, censoring explicit language and subject matter, KIDZ BOP has become a staple source for tunes in households with children.
This new compilation album, however, has gotten viral for the wrong reasons. Twitter, along with the YouTube video’s comments, lit up with listeners shamefully admitting that the KIDZ BOP version is the one stuck in their head, while the other half is expressing how cringey the altered lyrics are. Have a listen above, and read what the internet is saying about the KIDZ BOP version of “In My Feelings.”
In other music news, Spotify is expected to release a new in-car music player in 2019.
