Swizz Beatz Discusses Favorite Artists, Collecting Works & More

Swizz Beatz is the subject of a new exclusive video by Sotheby’s to help announce its forthcoming “Contemporary Curated” auction in New York this September 25. The Grammy-Award winning producer and longtime patron of the arts was selected to pick 16 of his favorite works from the 300+ lots in the bi-annual sale. Swizz discussed how being surrounded by graffiti in the Bronx spurred his passion for art and his transition into a full-fledged collector of works by artists who inspire him such as Kerry James Marshall, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Wolfgang Tillmans, Faith Ringgold, and many more.
