After joining forces with Moncler on the first innovative Genius drop, Craig Green joined the rest of the collaborators in Milan to tease the next iteration of his collaborative Genius collection. Unlike the first release, which centered around intricately-patterned quilting and weighty silhouettes, the Spring/Summer 2019 range takes cues from sun-beating accessories, like tents and umbrellas.

Like fragment design’s latest Genius collection, Green’s new goods center around rich color. Olive, yellow, blue and red appear throughout, often executed in multi-colored arcing stripes. Green’s signature dangling strings and loose cuts reappear alongside the oversized rivets and gargantuan hoods. Lightweight fabrics grant the generously-cut trousers, zip-up jackets and tentlike parkas cross-seasonal appeal, with the oversized, Moncler-branded bags crafted in matching tonal hues.

Expect Farfetch and the Genius site to release Green’s line next year.

Recently, SSENSE honored the first Green x Genius collection with a special installation.
