Long Beach's $tupid Young Throws an Airbnb Party for "Trust Nobody" Video
Following the viral success of songs like “Mando.”
Capitalizing on the viral success of singles like the Mozzy-assisted “Mando” and the Lil Durk collaboration “Murder Scene,” fast-rising West Coast rapper $tupid Young serves up his latest record and visual, “Trust Nobody.”
A @Voice2Hard-directed video, $tupid Young’s latest vignette takes viewers to the scene of a rowdy house party. “I made that song with a producer named Paupa Got Beats — me and him work very well together,” $tupid Young explains, breaking down “Trust Nobody.” “He came to the studio, played some beats, and I heard that one and I thought, ‘man, I got no songs girls can relate to or f*ck with,’ and I thought of that when he played this beat. We rented an Airbnb, brought some females, a little bit of money, drinks and that’s it … the vibe on this one is a little different than what I usually do.”
“A lot of the sh*t I do is not planned,” the Long Beach artist adds. “I don’t plan it, I just do what I do. Whatever mood I’m in, whatever I feel, whatever triggers me to write that — I just do it.”
