M.I.A. Drops the Reworked "Foreign Friend" off of 'AIM'
M.I.A. taps Dexta Daps for the ‘AIM’ single.

M.I.A. has been busy in the lead-up to AIM to say the very least. Since announcing the LP back in July, the artist has dropped the Skrillex-produced “Go Off,” two different versions of “Bird Song” — one helmed by Blaqstarr, the other by Diplo — and the Zayn Malik collab “Freedun.” Now, with LP just a couple of short days away, she’s back with yet another cut from the album. Premiered via Zane Lowe as today’s “World Record” on his Beats 1 show for Apple Music, “Foreign Friend” reworks the Lion King-sampling version of the track that hit SoundCloud back in March and taps dancehaller Dexta Daps for good measure.
Give it a spin below and look for AIM to drop this Friday, September 9.
