Gucci Mane Shares Details of His Prison Stint With Trevor Noah
Making it out of the vicious cycle wasn’t easy.
Gucci Mane stopped by The Daily Show earlier this week to talk all things about his new book, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane. During his chat with Trevor Noah, the trap legend was asked about his life in prison, saying it was a vicious cycle but after facing 20 to 30 years, he knew change was inevitable if he ever wanted to be a free man again. “It forced me to be like, you know, that’s it. I’m changing my lifestyle. I’m changing my choices. I’ma reflect on my life and see what I did wrong.”
The “Water” rapper also opened up about his addiction to lean, saying “I could’ve been one of the artists that don’t wake up the next day. I don’t want that in my future.” He also praises his wife, Keyshia Ka’Oir, calling her his ride-or-die, whom he also has an upcoming wedding television special with, which is due out later this year.
