Following the brand’s past Spring/Summer collection, Coach 1941 returns to New York Fashion Week with another range of skewed Westernwear. Fringe, patchwork and fleece details inform the layers of suede, denim and silk, with animal prints livening up muted leather jackets and strappy shirts. Rock ‘n roll attitude informs the zippered leather biker pants, contrasting with floral patterns, abstract-patterned knits and hoodies printed with characters from Disney‘s The Aristocats and Peter Pan. Track pants, fleece jackets, technical parkas and clunky sneakers added sportswear flair to the raw-hemmed patchwork sweaters and ruffled shirting, bringing the retro Western influences into the 21st century.

Meet Bronty. Rising from the desertscape on the #CoachSS19 runway at 20 feet tall and nearly 100 feet long, she was lovingly crafted of 100 antique pieces––like swings, a slide and turbine––that we picked up from Texas, California and beyond. The process took over 200 hours. pic.twitter.com/a9GvbUHhJM
