adidas Consortium Taps Bodega to Put Its Spin on the Kamanda & Sobakov
Reworking the soccer-inspired lifestyle models.
No stranger to sneaker collaborations, Boston-based retailer Bodega recently offered its spin on adidas‘ Kamanda and Sobakov silhouettes.
Part of the German sportswear brand’s premium Consortium line, the collaboration sees Earth tones dressing the emerging soccer-inspired lifestyle models. Both shoes share choice hits of orange, Bodega branding on the semi-translucent outsoles and “06 Bodega” co-branding tongue areas. Slight constructional changes were also employed on the Kamanda, as the new iterations receive overlay Three Stripes accents and ditches the usual suede upper for a canvas design.
Priced at €150 and €170 EUR ($171 and $194 USD) respectively, look for the Bodega Kamanda and Sobakov to release at select adidas Consortium retailers come September 1.
