F/CE. SS19 Is Packed With Youthful Sportswear Subversions
The Japanese label delivers playful, relaxed silhouettes.
Though it’s best known for a range of understated accessories and bags, Japan’s F/CE. also makes a variety of effortlessly casual sport-influenced clothing. A selection of lightweight track jackets and color-blocked pants appear throughout the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, informing the drop with a retro sportswear motif, undercut with corset-laced hoodies and strapped-up jackets. Plaids, checks and other bold patterns grant the items an air of lightheartedness, while oversized drawstrings, water-resistant fabrics and d-ring attachments bolster the goods with extra functionality. Shoulder bags, waist packs and rucksacks add further accessibility to the line-up, executed in bold tones that complement the loud hues seen elsewhere.
