Danny McBride Plays a Maniac Kidnapper in 'Arizona'
Set during the housing crisis of 2009.
The first trailer for comedic actor Danny McBride‘s latest project Arizona has finally arrived.
Penned as a dark comedy, the film will star McBride as a manic kidnapper who goes on to kidnap his real estate agent during the housing crisis of 2009. Directed by Jonathan Watson, Arizona also stars Luke Wilson (Idiocracy), Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), David Alan Grier (The Carmichael Show), and Elizabeth Gillies (Dynasty). Look for Arizona to arrive on August 24. The film originally made its debut during Sundance back in January. Check out the trailer above and the official synopsis below:
In Arizona, Cassie (Rosemarie DeWitt, La La Land) is a real estate agent and single mom struggling to keep it all together during the housing crisis of 2009. Her problems go from bad to worse when disgruntled client Sonny (Danny McBride) violently confronts Cassie’s boss and then kidnaps Cassie, making one outrageously bad, and bloody, decision after another. Things completely spiral out of control in this explosive action comedy.
