In a career spanning over 20 years, renowned Durban DJ-producer Black Coffee has created, curated and come across vast amounts of sonic treasures. The South African dance music heavyweight has worked as a backup singer, played in an Afro-pop band, and even participated in Red Bull Music Academy. This year, he has even performed at major festivals around the world, including Coachella and Ultra. Inspired by his set at this year’s stacked Full Moon Festival, which had recently taken place at NYC’s Governors Island, Black Coffee has crafted together an hour-long house, Afrobeat and tech-infused mixes for HYPETRAK.
