Watch Drake Perform a Gogo Version of “One Dance”
D.C. fans call him out for “cultural appropriation.”
During his second ‘Summer Sixteen’ show in Washington D.C., Drake paid tribute to the city by performing a Gogo version of his smash hit, “One Dance.” For those unfamiliar, Gogo is a regional style of music popularized by Chuck Brown in the ’70s. However, not too many people are happy with Drake’s attempt at the style, labelling it as “cultural appropriation.” Watch the performance below and check out what people are saying about it.
