Nike Releases a Sneaker for the 2020 Olympics
A four-year head start.

The 2016 Rio Olympics may have just ended, but that hasn’t stopped Nike from releasing a new shoe for the next Olympics being held in Tokyo in 2020. The LunarGlide 8 SP ‘Tokyo 2020’ is the first official shoe to come out with branding for the next Summer Olympics. The pair sees the shoe dressed in varying shades of blue with a dye print graphic on its heel and Swoosh. The tongue bears the name “Naiki” in Japanese Katakana, along with nods to Tokyo on the insoles and heels. The Nike LunarGlide 8 SP Tokyo 2020 is online now for $130 USD. Ready for the next Olympics?
