Lacoste’s Dynamic New Explorateur Range Pushes Urban Explorers Out of Their Comfort Zone

In the city, every day is an adventure and every night is a marathon. And a dynamic, ever-changing environment calls for footwear that is engineered to survive any and all challenges that might come its way. The new Lacoste Explorateur is built with exactly this sort of city-dweller in mind.

Taking inspiration from an archived tennis-shoe silhouette, the Explorateur is shot through with modern updates, including a soft-shell upper executed in a sporty nylon, a cup-sole and a mudguard built to help explorers brave the elements.

Photographer Ron Timehin and Manx free-runner Will Sutton were enlisted by Lacoste as part of the “My City, My Way” campaign, shooting around downtown London as they showed off the flexibility and practicality of the kicks in their natural element.

The Lacoste Explorateur is available for £75 GBP (approximately $99 USD) at select stockists, including Dune and Footasylum.
