Originally reserved for the ladies, Jordan Brand now gears up to release the Air Jordan 1 High “Zip” in men’s sizing. As its name suggests, a traditional lacing system is swapped out to accommodate a lengthy zip closure, running from the vamp area to the top of the tongue. Seen above — one in “Black/Hyper Royal” and the other in “White/University Red” — both options feature tumbled leather uppers with contrasting branded tongue tabs and outsoles.
Rounding out both models are decorative perforations found on the forefoot region, as well as on the side area which forms each of the Swooshes. Set to a retail price of $150 USD, the Air Jordan 1 High “Zip” will make its debut at select Nike retailers on August 9.
