In celebration of the franchise’s 10th anniversary, all 20 Marvel Cinematic Universe movies are coming to IMAX theaters this Labor Day weekend. Announced by IMAX, Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios, this is the first time ever Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Captain America: The First Avenger are arriving in the plus-size format.
“A lot of superheroes coming together. Sounds like IMAX was the appropriate call,” says Chris Evans in the promotional video above. The festival, dubbed “Marvel Studios 10th Anniversary Film Festival,” will run from Thursday, August 30 to Thursday, September 6 in select IMAX theaters across North America. All 20 films will be shown in the order they were released for the first five days. The two days after (September 4-5) will be “theme days” revolving around the series’ origin stories and team-ups. The last day will be a fan-voted encore showing of two of the films.
