Nike Football Enlists Neymar, Ronaldinho & More for New Short Film, 'Awaken the Phantom'

Nike Football has shared a new short film to support the release of the PhantomVSN.

Dubbed Awaken the Phantom, Nike Football’s new vignette stars Neymar, Philippe Coutinho, Mal Pugh, Ronaldinho, Wizkid, Andrea Pirlo, Gennaro Gattuso and others. For the soundtrack, a mashup of Genesis and Justice’s “Heavy Metal” is utilized. The short film comes to us courtesy of director Matthew Vaughn, and is shared to tell the “story of a mysterious player” who transforms into an “urban legend of terrifying proportions” through “word of mouth.”
