Pusha-T Hints at G.O.O.D. Music Tour and His Next Project in New Interview
King Push’s next project probably won’t be limited to 7 tracks.
King Push recently made an appearance on Beats 1 radio with Julie Adenuga for an interview where he touched on subjects like his new album Daytona, his follow-up project, and that G.O.O.D. Music may be going on tour. When talking about Daytona, the first of five albums backed by Kanye West production, he says although he initially wasn’t down with it being 7 tracks, he subscribed to the idea when thinking about the collective process, stating: “The seven tracks wasn’t just about me, it was about everybody.”
He continued, “When you think about seven tracks coming from one guy, five times, that’s 35 beats, in five weeks.” He also followed up by saying his next project will not follow that same structure. He also mentioned Teyana Taylor’s K.T.S.E. was his favorite of the five Kanye-produced albums, and that he was jealous Nas got the beat for “Cops Shot the Kid.”
Pusha-T then hinted that a joint G.O.O.D. Music tour may be in the work, combining all their new material. “I’ve already booked a tour, but you know I definitely see us doing this as a collective for sure, and not even by my word, by Ye’s. I already see it happening.”
