STAMPD Rejoins monkey time for SS18 Collaboration
“A Stranger In Paradise” offers Orwellian graphics.
Following up on January’s collaborative release, STAMPD reunites with monkey time for another joint capsule range. Dubbed “A Stranger in Paradise,” this drop takes cues from George Orwell’s 1984, showcasing plenty of paranoia-induced graphics. Surveillance cameras, shattered glass and the collection’s name are all printed on a variety of basic tees, socks and caps, accompanied by versatile French terry sweat shorts, bondage pants and ripped jeans. Items keep in line with the California brand’s preferred monochrome color palette, though monkey time’s playful inclinations yield shorts with a muted check pattern.
Look for the collection to hit monkey time’s Shinjuku outpost on July 14 before arriving at STAMPD’s web store and flagship on July 20.
Most recently, another UNITED ARROWS sublabel, BEAUTY & YOUTH, introduced collaborations with Girl Skateboards and The North Face Purple Label.
