After years of waiting, Nas recently made his full return to the music world by dropping his highly-anticipated Nasir project.
Offering a look at every single sample featured on Nasir, the creatives at Bandstand recently made a video highlighting the soulful cuts that make up the songs on the project. Another Kanye West-produced album, the seven-track piece sees Nas coming back with his heavy-hitting flow accompanied by notable features from Diddy, 070 Shake and The-Dream. Continuing to draw from an eclectic array of sonic inspirations, ‘Ye dipped into the cinematic realm using an operatic cut from The Hunt for Red October on “Not for Radio” and a line from Richard Pryor’s appearance in Wattstax on “Cops Shot the Kid.”
