Nike’s Mini Swoosh Motif Invades the Air Max 1
Combining “Pure Platinum” and “Sail.”
Seen previously on several Air Force 1 iterations last year, it appears that Nike has now adorned its signature Air Max 1 model with the popular mini Swoosh motif. “Pure Platinum” in both premium suede and mesh blanket the upper while subtle splashes of “Sail” find a home on the vamp overlay strip, side Swoosh, tongue and midsole.
Once again similar in concept to its AF1 counterpart, Nike’s mini emblem makes its presence felt on the frontside mudguard, in addition to finding a home on the leather vamp panel sitting below the lacing system. This new Air Max 1 will make its debut on July 12 at such retailers as SNS for a price of $150 USD.
