Last we heard from barebones rocker Hanni El-Khatib, he was going outside of his genre’s confines for a collaborative cut with Freddie Gibbs, “Satin Black.” That was over a year ago, and today he’s finally back with a new record. Taking his rock-revival sound back to its most barebones, infectious roots, Hanni El-Khatib serves up the catchy “Come Down.” No word yet on when we’ll see more releases from El-Khatib, so stay tuned.
