You Can Now Try 3D-Printed Food at the "Food Ink." Pop-Up Restaurant
Everything from the furniture to the plates is 3D-printed.
Dutch company byFlow is known for its multi-material and foldable 3D printer. It can print with a wide range of material — even food. This is what Food Ink. is all about — its menu and decor are all 3D-printed, from the dishes to the chairs as well. Dishes are created by using food pastes, which are then layered on plates to create geometric and intricate designs, and are given fanciful names like Air Caviar, Fish and Chips, Caesar’s Flower of Life, Mystic Prawns, Steak TARTRIS, Love Bites and 3D Boscana. The pop-up will start in London, July 25-27 before heading to other cities worldwide later this year.
