Last week, Legendary Entertainment blew fans away with the new Godzilla: King of Monsters Comic-Con trailer. The footage gave a look at the sequel to 2014’s Godzilla, showcasing the monsters that will appear in the movie including Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah. Directed and co-written by Michael Dougherty, the movie is the third film in Legendary’s MonsterVerse after Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island (2017). It stars the likes of Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga and Millie Bobby Brown, and will be released in US cinemas on May 31, 2019.
While we wait on more trailers and promotional content, a YouTuber decided to take footage from the trailer and rearrange it to make it look like a Toho-style movie from the ’60s. The audio from the new trailer is taken from 1964’s Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster.
