'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' Releases First Official Trailer
Starring Millie Bobbie Brown.
San Diego Comic-Con continues to roll out exclusive first looks at upcoming films. After receiving a sneak peek at Godzilla: King of the Monsters just a few days ago, Warner Bros. unveils the first official trailer for the action-packed movie. The plot centers around Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobbie Brown and Vera Farmiga, who plays scientist Dr. Emma Russell working at a cryptozoological agency. According to Dr. Russell’s dire warning in the beginning, several monsters that were in hiding are making their way back to Earth due to an infection caused by humanity. Godzilla appears with other ancient creatures including Mothra, Rodan, and his nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah, in what can be described as an epic battle affecting the fate of the world.
Directed by Michael Dougherty, the film also stars Charles Dance, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Sally Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ziyi Zhang, and Ken Watanabe and will be released in theaters on May 31, 2019.
