Drawing inspiration from the teen dramedy.
Noriyuki Shimizu’s NAME. returns with another notable range of menswear for the forthcoming spring/summer season. Dubbed “Colors,” the collection aptly features bright hues of blue, orange and yellow, interspersed with more subdued navy and khaki fabrics. Classic plaid patterns are updated with bold designs and fashioned into everything from bucket hats to trench coats to pants, while denim plays a key role throughout the clothing. Inspired by Judd Apatow’s cult television show Freaks and Geeks, the line incorporates ’80s staples like oversized sweater vests and boxy sport coats, coupled with bold graphics and modern tailoring, adding in a unique flair.
